Agreement to Terms

By accessing or using FreelanceDesk, including the website (freelancedesk.online) and the Chrome extension, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree with any part of these terms, you may not use our services.

Description of Service

FreelanceDesk is a Chrome extension that helps freelancers create professional business documents including invoices, proposals, contracts, NDAs, and quotes. The extension is available in two tiers:

• Free tier: Create up to 15 documents, manage up to 5 clients, and access 15 templates (3 per type).
• Pro ($49 one-time): Unlimited documents, unlimited clients, 45 templates, brand kit, and no watermark.

All data is processed and stored locally on your device.

Chrome Extension License

The FreelanceDesk Chrome extension is available as a one-time purchase of $49 USD. Upon purchase, you receive a perpetual, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the extension under the following terms:

• Single user: One license key is valid for one person. You may install and use the extension on up to 3 of your own devices. You can deactivate a device to free up a slot.
• Lifetime access: Your license includes access to all current features and all future updates at no additional cost.
• Non-transferable: License keys are tied to the purchaser and may not be shared, resold, or transferred to another person.
• License validation: The extension periodically validates your license key through our secure server, which communicates with Polar (our payment provider). Only the license key is transmitted during this process.

Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Resell, redistribute, or sublicense the FreelanceDesk extension or any content generated by it
• Bypass, disable, or circumvent the license validation mechanism
• Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the extension software
• Use FreelanceDesk for any purpose that violates applicable local, national, or international law
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to our systems or infrastructure
• Use automated means to access or scrape the website or extension beyond normal use

Intellectual Property

Our property: FreelanceDesk, including its source code, document templates, design assets, branding, and website content, is the intellectual property of The Rai Labs. All rights not expressly granted in these terms are reserved.

Your content: You retain full ownership of all documents, data, and content you create using FreelanceDesk. We claim no rights to your content. Since all data is stored locally on your device, we never have access to it.

Refund Policy

We offer a 30-day money-back guarantee on the Chrome extension. If you are not satisfied for any reason within 30 days of purchase, email us at therailabs@gmail.com for a full refund. Refunds are processed through Polar, our payment provider, and typically appear within 5–10 business days. After the 30-day window, refunds are granted at our discretion on a case-by-case basis.

Document Templates Disclaimer

The document templates provided by FreelanceDesk, including invoices, proposals, contracts, NDAs, and quotes, are general templates intended to help freelancers create professional documents. They are not legal advice and do not create an attorney-client relationship.

We strongly recommend having any important contracts, NDAs, and legal documents reviewed by a qualified attorney before use. Laws vary by jurisdiction, and it is your responsibility to ensure any document you create complies with applicable laws.

Disclaimer of Warranties

FreelanceDesk is provided on an “AS IS” and “AS AVAILABLE” basis without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties, including but not limited to implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.

We do not warrant that the service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or secure, or that any defects will be corrected. You use FreelanceDesk at your own risk.

Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, in no event shall FreelanceDesk, The Rai Labs, or its affiliates be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to loss of profits, data, or business opportunities, arising out of or related to your use of the service.

Our aggregate liability for all claims related to the service shall not exceed the amount you paid for the FreelanceDesk Chrome extension. If you have not made a purchase, our aggregate liability shall not exceed $10 USD.

Termination

By you: You may stop using FreelanceDesk at any time by uninstalling the Chrome extension and ceasing to use the website. No notice is required. Your locally stored data remains on your device until you delete it.

By us: We reserve the right to revoke your license or restrict access to our services if you violate these terms, engage in abusive behavior, or use FreelanceDesk in a manner that harms other users or our infrastructure. We will make reasonable efforts to notify you before taking such action, except where immediate action is necessary.

Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms of Service from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated “Last updated” date. Your continued use of FreelanceDesk after any changes constitutes your acceptance of the updated terms. For material changes that significantly affect your rights, we will make reasonable efforts to provide advance notice.

Governing Law

These terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Republic of the Philippines, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any disputes arising from or relating to these terms or the use of FreelanceDesk shall be resolved in the courts of the Republic of the Philippines.
